đŻđ” OsakaAbout 9 Borden Coffee
About
9 Borden Coffee takes inspiration from a shared living experience in a house located on Borden Street in Toronto, Canada. The owners, a couple who worked together in a café in Canada, aim to recreate that open and relaxed atmosphere back in Japan. The café is designed as a space where both customers and staff can enjoy themselves and unwind, much like in the "9 Borden" shared house.
Food
The café offers a variety of food options, including three types of hot sandwiches and some vegan-friendly choices. These include acai bowls and burritos, reflecting not only diversity but also an awareness of different dietary preferences.
Coffee & Drinks
At 9 Borden Coffee, the focus is on high-quality coffee, sourced from Raw Sugar Roast, a locally supported roaster. The drink menu includes drip coffee, prepared with customer-chosen beans, and café latte, which can be enhanced with flavors like crÚme brûlée or maple cinnamon. Additionally, hot chocolate and a variety of colorful sodas are available.

One of the best places to have brunch and do some work on a laptop that I found in Osaka. wifi is good and there are power outlets available. Coffee is really good, if youâre from Europe you wonât be disappointed like in many other âcoffeeâ places. Matcha latte is delicious but very sweet.
Good music and so so coffee.
I've been to so many coffee shops in Osaka.
This was one that I was looking forward to for se time.
But I was extremely disappointed.
The staff were super stuck up.
Very rude, not professional.
The only good thing here was the wifi.
But even getting the wifi password they gave me attitude even though I asked them nicely.
I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.
You're better off going to vending machine and getting coffee there.
Who ever the owner is, you should monitor your staff.
This isn't the service coffee shops should have.
The staff are friendly and some speak English. AND THEY HAVE wifi. The matcha latte was good but there were a couple of these tea-like-stems that lowered the enjoyment towards the end of the cup
They have a vegan burrito and oat milk. Good place to chill or work on laptop.
good coffee, friendly staffs (they can speak english fluently) and free wifi
Good coffee, hojicha latte, toasties and great atmosphere. Plenty of charging points+ wifi.
A cool corner cafe. The hojicha is great. Friendly staff. Mellow vibes and free wifi.
Very loud due to youth people.
Also, you can't always eat there, due to people who just abuse this place to charge up their laptop.
Food and stuff is great.
