Great place for working from and having meetings
I go to cafes alone generally. I am a solo traveller. A woman who seeks a good safe place to go to for some time away from my home which is also an art studio. I like it when the staff recognises that a solo woman is alway nervous entering alone in an Indian restaurant/cafe. Making a lady feel uncomfortable is uniquely an I diana issue. The staff Dev was quite Arrogant and did not serve me with respect. Coffee: The coffee was full of the sediment which they refused to filter. Did you know consuming the coffee sediment can cause serious health issues. Anyway it's too expensive for these issues. Third wave is better! The staff recognises solo occupiers. They will usually end up spending a lot of time at the cafe and spend more if itbecomes a frequent haunt! I am looki g for a work from cafe spot. So far, third wave and CCD in indiranagar are a good fit. Araku must understand this new culture..we are generally dressed down for comfort... don't judge a book by its cover đđŒ
Good place for meeting, office work..
Haute cuisine meets work-from-cafe in an elegant setting. Small plates with innovative yet delicious food complement a bevy of beverages riding on the core product, which is aromatic coffee from the Araku valley. Well spaced seating ensures it never feels crowded, even when you pull out your laptop for a quick work meeting. And you can work while sipping on a cortado and nibbling on a croissant! It does get a tad expensive, though deservedly so. They do have work packages for those planning a few hours of work-from-Araku.
One of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shop in Bengaluru that serves outstanding coffee and food is araku coffee.
The coffee is locally and ethically sourced from Araku region directly from farmers enabling a sustainable livelihood for them. They also work hand in hand with NGOs.
The coffee is freshly roasted everyday and is extremely potent and aromatic. They also sell the roasted coffee to customers and you can ask them for your blend of coffee that will be roasted on order and freshly packed.
All the sauces and dips are also made in house. Food is organic, locally sourced and seasonal. Chef Rahul is the mastermind behind the food and believes in indulging in all senses of taste. Even bitterness for that matter. The food definitely requires a more mature and refined palate to appreciate the real beauty. I honestly felt it was some of the best food Iâve had in a long time with indefinite layers of flavour and texture.
My recommendations would be
1) Roasted sunchokes with roasted onion, tomato, sesame paste
2) Summer melon salad
3) Spring onion with Pistachio butter, spring onion pesto
4) Sautéed Okinawa spinach with homemade cultured butter
5) Scotch eggs
6) Ambemohar Onigiri with pumpkin mole (add on chicken option)
In coffee I highly recommend the honey vanilla latte, nutty irishman and caramel latte
In desserts donât miss out on the tomato cake (incredible usage of tomato in a sweet concoction), damask rose tart and chocolate squared
Highly recommend it.
Perfect ambience for work related discussions and meetings. Loved the vibe.
Well lit & modern themed interior. Ambience is good. Coffees were great. You can work from the cafe or just hang out with friends or come here on a date.
Totally in love with this place! Nice plce to work and chill with friends đ€©đ€©
After seeing ratings and reviews/images thought Araku Coffee at Indiranagar is an amazing place to work. But it's not very conducive to getting work done. One of the staff showed only one space where there's no space to spread out your papers or to sit comfortably at a desk. They do have first floor functioning and no details were provided. Not happy with the experience.
hands down the best cafe!! nice space to work and to chill! pretty and cozy corners to read a book or concentrate. Also such cute and sensible baristas :)
A fancy place with overpriced items on the menu and they asked to take a separate package for wifi!! Found the menu quite limited.
Visited this place today after hearing a lot of mixed reviews. Some people told me this place was excellent and one of its kind. While others told me that its not worth the hype and many times all offerings on the menu is not there. To cut the confusion i personally visited. Here is my review.
1. Ambiance: Uber cool, white interiors, with merchandise walls around and super coffee dispense towers which are the first in India. The tables and the seating are comfortable. Got a lot of white in the place. Great for pictures.
2. Menu: Good collection of coffee and also a decent size of food menu. We ordered for 3 variety of coffee. Which was accepted, but when we ordered for snacks they said kitchen was closed at 8:30pm. Due to the night curfew. This is understandable.
3. Staff: We had 2 staff who attended to us, both were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the drinks. They understood out pallet and accordingly suggested what to drink.
4. The product: I ordered for a Cold cafe Mocha, while the taste was decent and the drink was cold. The drink was very thin. The coffee taste was hardly there.
A friend ordered a coffee orange drink, that drink i personally didn't like as i dont like oranges.
Another friend ordered a regular cappuccino, this was good, the coffee was strong. Tasted great.
5. Pricing: Now here comes the problem: which I understand that coffee here is premium and may be completely organic and handpicked. Yet i do not understand when a coffee costs Rs.350/-. A drink like a cold mocha was also over 300. Probably not a big deal for a few. But surely not for the masses.
6. My Verdict: The Ambiance is Great, Staff is superb and well trained, the drinks were average, the prices are high. I will go back to try something else next time. But how often? Thats a big question. I have not tried opening my laptop here Because of the reviews i have read. But yes, a nice place to bring some one special here and make them feel luxury.
Coffee is good. No wifi and no power in the outlets. Was not conducive for me to work.
I enquired as soon I entered for a spot to connect my laptop and work for few minutes. They didn't have a problem first but after 5 mins they came and said we don't entertain working on weekends. So, I had a leave in middle of meeting to another cafe nearby. Very unprofessional.
Average coffee and food. Nice ambiance and service.
The food and coffee does not seem worth the price. Good to visit just once.
They have wifi but the staff said no and didn't share the password which seemed weird if we're ordering a lot of expensive food (they have a work from araku section in the menu, well then please share your wifi)
Went as a family to see what all the hype was but it turned out to be highly disappointing! Firstly, itâs more of a place where people hangout with laptops either because they are wf cafe or belong to startup. Second, although they have a coworking space on the first floor, even the ground floor is infested by them. Third, so though the Xmas decor was quite pretty we had to sit in the coworking space on the first floor looking at packaging boxes left around. Fourth, exorbitantly priced and I can see why! People just sit there with their laptops for hours with perhaps just a drink while the others who really want to eat drink and have a good time donât get to enjoy the ambience but pay $$$
I wouldnât go back or recommend it to anyone else.
Good coffee and ambience. Only thing disappointed me was lack of wifi. They charge additional Rs 1000 ( which you can combine with food and beverage as package).
As a good coffee place, I would expect free wifi to work or work related meetups.
Come on Araku !!! How much does it cost for wifi ? You could drive in more customers and more inside time (which means more coffee and food). Think again!
Average overpriced coffee with NO wifi. First coffee shop in the world in todays time without wifi. Bizarre. Whatâs worse they will try and convince you that the wifi works. Later they will tell you there is no complimentary wifi. And that the wifi is not working. Walked out to third wave across the street - open wifi as one would expect from a cafe.
Came all the way here since they advertised wifi to work out of here but turns out it isnât working.
