Disappointing and Overhyped –

We visited Astro Cafe after being drawn in by their Instagram posts and Google reviews. However, the reality was far from that.

The cafe is a small spot tucked beside a house in a quiet residential area. We ordered the kimchi fried rice with protein patties and sesame. The rice arrived dry, had one tiny piece of kimchi, though it had some decent flavor—but certainly not worth the hype. When we asked if they had mistakenly served us plain fried rice, the owner checked and admitted the cook had overcooked the rice and forgotten the protein patties altogether. She offered a 50% discount 🙄 on the dish, but at that point, the damage was done. We were disappointed that despite having only one order the cook forgot to follow the recipie. We decided not to order anything else.

We settled for an Americano and a cashew milk masala chai. The Americano was absolutely undrinkable—like weak, coffee-colored water. The chai, though a small relief from the others. The boy at the counter proudly announced the 50% discount like we had won some kind of prize and quoted a random figure for the bill. When I asked for an itemized bill to check the calculation, he claimed their billing system wasn’t working and reluctantly wrote down just the total figure after several minutes of making us stand. And the amount was incorrect when I checked it later.

To sum it up. It's an ok place of you just want to work from a Cafe,as there are not many work cafes around here. the food and service are overpriced and disappointing. Sadly, this place is a major letdown.
