way overpriced and doesnt even have wifi. had oat milk but charged extra for that, 90% ice and iced coffee was mid (3/10). my friend had the mocha and said that was good. the cafe is quite literally a long rectangle and it’s quite small. go elsewhere maybe!
One of the most quirky and delightful coffee shops I have ever visited. One of the best places to get work done while enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat. As it is underground, your phone’s satellite connection can struggle a bit, but they have free wifi which you can use so it did not affect me. The coffee was just right, and they have a number of roasts and types to choose from. Will return again soon!
Nice coffee and food, a bit pricier than other cafés, but consider it as buying an experience of sipping a coffee in Victorian public toilets. The Attendant is very smart for choosing this location.
The seating is very limited so I recommend going there before noon to avoid the crowd, and to have the place almost entirely yours to take as many photos you want.
It’s table service, and you pay when you finish. So don’t just simply walk out!
The staff is so nice and kind. Ask them for the wifi password if you want to use the internet.
Quaint subterranean coffee shop maintaining the theme of its lavatorial history. Cleverly reflected with its urinal-separated bar counter. Very “Instagrammable” as witnessed by the many gen Z pics taken in the hope of smashing it with that elusive viral post that they all yearn for. All this “While working from Home” or having taken sick-leave due to mental stress. The irony of the place - it does not have a toilet facility! Good coffee, though.
A very interesting idea for a coffee bar. It is still VERY clearly a public restroom with original fixtures and what appears to be unchanged tiling. However it does work. The coffee was very well done and the carrot cake was delicious. The service was exceptional and helpful. Well recommended as an interesting detour.
