The best bagels in the area! Also the ambiance is great love the plants. The patrons are always diverse. And the people working here are very chill
One of the best cafes in Bridgeport. Great food and drinks. Really pleasant place to do work as it’s relatively quiet, good wifi, and plenty of outlets. Love all the plants inside too.
The owner of this establishment is very rude. They changed their policy to where you can only sit in the establishment and use their free wifi unless you buy something from them. As a former patron, I’ve been in this establishment multiple times and purchased food and beverages and at times I have sat in the cafe and have not purchased food from them and have never been informed about this policy. I don’t recommend anyone to come here unless you want to be disrespected by the manager and owner of the business.
Was referred to this place by a colleague who uses the space to work from their computer. They meet clients here. This space is incredibly beautiful, quiet, clean; free parking, bathrooms, excellent food and gracious service. My new found “office “ away from the home office. Great place to meet clients.
This cafe is a great place to get some work done! It has a very chill atmosphere, set by lots of natural light and chill low-fi beats on the speakers. Ample seating options with plenty of outlets on the walls or in the floor. I had an egg and cheese bagel that was tasty and a chai latte. Great prices on drinks and pretty reasonable prices for food. Tons of free street parking. I will be back!
One of our neighborhood cafes, I come here at least once a month. We’ve tried everything from their chai to other teas to cold brew to lattes. The coffees and teas are all fairly priced and delicious (they know their stuff), the hot food is high quality albeit a bit pricey. I see why though, their breakfast bagels are stuffed and super filling, they’d even work for lunch. But their drinks are at least comparably priced to the area, with some being surprisingly cheaper. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly, straightforward, but not coffee shop pretentious (if you know what I mean). It’d be a good place to work or study. I wish they were open a little earlier and closed a little later, maybe sometime in the future they’ll expand their hours.
Bo at BASE/8A5E has done a few fixes for my laptop. He's done a fantastic job. Quick and effective. He even included a free laptop cord -- which I didn't even know I needed -- just because he had one. (Also: great coffee.) Highly recommend!
Reliably scrumptious and fresh. A Bridgeport go-to for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Looks like they're building out a more substantial kitchen--looking forward to seeing what's in the works 👏
Stopped in to try them out. I had a bagel and some chicken vegetables soup. It was delicious.
Nice place to have a coffee or work on you laptop.
