TL;DR This place needs some serious fixing up. It's falling apart.

I've frequented Bohemeos since 2012 and they haven't upgraded much since then. The furniture outdoors needs to be upgraded or taken in to be fixed. Every chair and table is wobbly.

Table and chairs are often dirty and require customers to do a quick swipe over to clean them before sitting. On one than more occasion I've found old lettuce on the tables.

I love to spend time outside under the canopy, but in my last few visits, I've been put off by the overgrowing plants. Gardens are not taken care of and the fountain in the courtyard is breeding ground for mosquitoes. The last time I was there, the moss was spilling over.

I would think twice before hosting a community event here. The shorter woman with shoulder length hair (might be a manager or an owner) is incredibly rude and loud. Inside, people want to work in there in a quiet and calm coffee shop. I could still hear her having a conversation with another worker across the room even with my noise cancelling headphones on.

Many of the other workers are very friendly and I enjoy catching up with them.

These are simple fixes to a staple in the community. Love this place, but it needs some work.

Absolutely wonderful! I went on karaoke night & got a panini, it was great! Everyone working was a delight 10/10 recommend!

Update 2023: Still my favorite coffee shop in Houston. This is a great place to get coffee and delicious food that tastes homemade. They always have great events going on: concerts, art fairs, community meetings, and an art gallery.

If you are an artist who wants to hang up their art for a month... or looking for a new place to host a community meeting - try Bohemeos!

I haven't been here in a while, but since I have been back the coffee (particularly the espresso) is *really good*. The menu is thoughtfully made and everything that comes from their kitchen is great too. Highly recommend coming in before 11am and getting an espresso with a breakfast taco :) Everyone here is so kind and thoughtful! I love coming here to work and study.

I've been coming here for 15 years. I even had my 30th bday party here. While waiting for a friend I asked for the wifi and I was told by the lovely employee working condescendingly (bald head/glasses) that it was for PAYING customers only. I let her know that I was waiting for a friend to order but I appreciated the hospitality, not. Will not be returning. Overpriced and the customer is always right so.......
