It’s a pretty cafe and nice space to get some work done. Matcha drink was just okay.
This café is my favorite in all of NY! Having been café hopping all summer, I've been looking for a place with the perfect Americano (not sour, more bitter), a nice vibe (quiet & low-fi ish music playing in the back), a central location, not too many people, aesthetics, and wifi. This place has everything - fast wifi, not too many people, AMAZING cranberry scones, a perfect Americano, even Bingsu! The aesthetics are also so beautiful - there's a flower shop inside. Also close to the pier :)
Wonderful small Café with flowershop, near Leonard Street, where my ancestor John Springer (Johann Sprenger) settled as the first Violinmaker in Manhattan. He grew up in Mittenwald in Bavaria and went to NYC in 1847.
His Brother Mathew started his violinmaking workshop at Centre Street.
To combine Coffee and flowers IS a great Idea !
