Best cafe in Lincoln Park area. Owners are super friendly and love chatting with regulars. Great place to sit down and do some work.
Super good I mean SUPER good place to work, wall outlets everywhere. Coffee and food is priced well. Cool art deco style. You cannot pass this place up
Lovely cute cafe for hangouts and work. Loved the coffee and ambiance.
This place has such a great vibe. Perfect to grab a coffee and get some work done.
Super delicious chipotle chicken sandwich, really cozy environment. Very friendly staff. If you’re looking for a place to get some work done, here’s a quiet spot.
This is a delightful little coffee shop. Perfect to work or stuff at as well! The pastries are nothing to get excited about but the drinks are excellent. The interior design work is also spectacular.
Cool coffee shop & good drinks, but not a great place to work (super slow internet) or hang out (music too loud to chat).
A great work spot! Also a god place to meet up with friends. Very busy though and sometimes hard to find a seat. Decent wifi, I couldn’t find outlets to plug my laptop in though.
This place is such a vibe. I really enjoyed it. Seems like a lot of people go there to work. Very nice
The cafe WAS very cute and had a great sense of style, but that is unfortunately all I can give it. The food/ baked goods were soggy and sad. The croissants (which weren't even labeled with the fillings) barely had anything inside of them and were probably sitting out for a long, long time. The coffee was so bad I couldn't take more than a few sips. It was watery, sour, and one-note (in a bad way). The wifi kept kicking both of my devices out and I couldn't even do any work. Disappointing on all ends.
good vibes but dropped one star because of the lack of food options for those with dietary restrictions. As a coffee shop that totes wifi and is a great place to work, some inclusive options would be nice seeing as there is a no outside food policy.
Local spot, beautiful decor & friendly baristas & owner who works behind the bar to keep the line moving. Always bustling! Love it!
Great coffee, gorgeous interior. Not great wifi, so better for a casual stop than a studious one.
I got the White Mocha latte and it was good at a reasonable price. Although it does get busy, it wasn’t too loud, which allowed for concentration while doing some work on the computer. The wifi was a bit slow at times but overall a good experience.
| TLDR | Seasonal Honey Lavendar latte is a solid choice, booshy yet pro-study space, and chill vibes. Now here's the inside scoop:
| Pros |
☕ Coffee: two seasonal coffees, run-of-the-mill coffee bevs, and tea options (options w/ and w/o caffeine). Average prices are some of the lowest in the coffeeshop space, with the 12oz latte I got coming out to $5.25 w/o tax)
🏠 Seating: ample seating (to get a port, go for the tables towards the wall)
📶 Great wifi: speeds clocked in at an avg. of 68 Mbps. Password can be found on top of the door in the back.
| Things to Consider |
🥤🥗 No Outside Food: i'm just gonna leave it at that...I may or may not have eaten my lunch at a coffeeshop before...customer discretion advised haha
Overall, really neat place to get some work done or meet with a friend. If you ever wondered which River North coffeeshop to stop by, check out Cafe Deko (where deko-rations are the aesthetic)!
