This is a really dope, black-owned spot with many good uses. I popped in to get some work done one day and enjoyed a good drink and good wifi. There's definitely an artistic vibe: art on the walls, music playing, cozy/ spacious place, local businesses and clothing shops inside doing business/networking, food trucks nearby, the list goes on. I'd come back to chill, get work done, meet with a group, or do a million other things.
Great place to work with a coffee!
I was in sd for a few hours on the way from some community work, and stumbled upon this spot while trying some rocklimbing next door (also a great, legit, local biz I was lucky to try). I drink alot of coffee and have worked in service so I appreciate cafes and the work that goes in alot but rarely review. But drinking this iced hazlenut latte and cheese danish I have to praise Miss Cynthia and the other folks who run this beautiful place. The inention and interconnection that drives this place - coffee selection, roasting, food sourcing, art on the walls, welcoming space, cooperative mission, mutual aid resources - is nothing short of inspiring. And that intention translates into some of the smoothest, most creative coffee and latte blend I've had. Don't miss out - and while you're at it spread the word to friends and fam. Looking forward to my next trip to try more from here.
