Great place to work, top notch wifi, and service. The staff are super friendly.
Very quiet place, suitable for work or book reading. Coffee was decent and fish curry was perfectly seasoned and very tasty. Also very friendly people work here.
Quiet, modern and relaxed. Seemed to be a few digital nomads doing their work. Staff very accomodating and food was good especially for price. Seemed located in a very random spot but was close to our villa.
Cozy cafe, nice place, suitable for work and hangouts.
Clean, calm and pleasant cafe.
workers are very polite and friendly 🤍
Coffee tasty and not too sweet, I liked it.
It was so good to spend my time here and work.
working her every day and eat 1-2 chicken chiabata sandwiches, love this place
I wish I did not have to write this review as I really enjoy this place a lot. I come almost every day to do work here. I also bring my wife and daughter here often (1-2 times per week) as we live close.
Today, I had a meeting (interview) and I requested to use the space upstairs, which I would like to add I have never seen in use. It always sits empty.
The staff are under strict protocol and insisted that it was off limits and that I must pay a minimum spend to be able to use it. I tried to reason with them, letting them know I would not be long. I also let them know I was disappointed as I was a regular guest here. When I asked what the price was, no one could give me an answer.
I remained calm about the situation and didn't push it, but I feel that this is not what guest experience is about. It is about being flexible, accommodating and finding solutions to make people happy, especially those that support your business daily.
I really didn't feel good about the exchange and how it was handled and I don't think that I will be back anytime soon.
If the owner reads this, some simple math for you.
Average number of visits per year: 192
Average cheque: 100k
Estimated Gross Revenue: $19.2M
This is the potential lost revenue based on my frequency if I go elsewhere. While I am not a man of figures, it is important to realize how much one guest interaction can cost a business, not to mention that there is a cost that can not be measured, which is word of mouth.
I do hope that you reconsider how your loyal guests are handled at your cafe and I wish you all the best.
PS: You should really offer water to guests who ask for it especially if you are ordering a meal. You are not saving money by not offering this.
Respectfully,
Jan
Great, calm space. Fast wifi!!
Suasana enak, wifi kenceng. Pesan capuccino, milkshake, sweet potato dan fish burger. Semuanya enak.
At first drive by, it didn't stand out from the road. I turned around and found it. Ample parking out front with some shaded areas. The cafe is divided into four sections: a front outdoor balcony seating style, indoor area open to outside air, an indoor section fully air conditioned, and an upper floor for meeting area (this area takes a few minutes cool down after turning on the air conditioner). There are outlets for connection electronics and they do have public wifi.
The staff are friendly and very attentive. The owners are quite hands on in their business connecting with customers to continually improve.
I ordered chicken croissant sandwich with fries, sweet potato fries, and coffee milkshake. Sandwich is juicy made to perfection (will have quite a bit of drip) and side of fries appear quite oily, but didn't taste oily (interesting). The sweet potato fries had two different types (sweet potato and purple yam) and a sour dip. I found the sweet potato goes well with the dipping sauce, but the purple yam doesn't. At first glance, I thought the fries were burned as I didn't know one was purple. 😁
Coffee milkshake, a tasty treat in itself. Thick whip cream topped with a few crunchy coffee beans.
I would rate this place overall 4.5/5.0.
Tasty curry, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Def recommend to pop in for food or for some time with your laptop.
Nice cafe in the outskirts of Ubud. I spend several afternoons here enjoying a coffee, their food, and the Aircon during hot days.
I love their mixed berry shake; the coffee is pretty good too. For food I only tried the chicken ciabatta, which was quite tasty. Overall I would rate food and beverages above average.
What a I really like about this place is the space, the layout is quite generous and you don’t get a sense of sitting right on top of other guests. Most tables are two seaters with big enough tables to hold a laptop and your food at the same time. There is also a bar like tall working space in the middle of the restaurant, but that’s not my thing… feels like sitting in an airport lounge.
Most tables have AC power outlets on the wall behind.
Overall, a great place to spend a hot afternoon and read a book or do some laptop work.
