About Fair Shot Cafe

About

Fair Shot Cafe, located in the heart of London's Covent Garden, offers more than just a cozy spot to enjoy coffee. It is a socially driven initiative aimed at helping young adults with learning disabilities gain work experience and enter the workforce. Through the year-long Supported Internship Programme, a new generation of baristas and café assistants is trained here. Graduates are placed in paid employment roles after completing the programme, with ongoing support for all involved parties. The cafe's philosophy is to drive positive societal change by creating job opportunities and training offerings for young individuals with special needs. This unique café aims to promote workplace inclusion and provide new perspectives to those involved through targeted training and education.

Had the smoked salmon bagel and a decaf cappuccino. The bagel was very tasty and filling- the cappuccino was also good. Service is great, staff are friendly and I absolutely loved how quiet and cozy this place was. Great for getting work done :)!!

This is a cafe working in a, worthy cause... but don't be lulled in to thinking you'll have make do and mend here, it's an excellent cafe and definitely worth a visit. Please go if you're in the Covent Garden area

Lovely spacious cafe with very easy going team. No wifi… you decide if that’s a bonus or not.

NO WI-FI! Don’t come here hoping to work because they don’t have wifi anymore - also sorry but food is pricey even for London and not so good. And I just spent 10£ thinking I could work here but gonna have to go elsewhere

Marco Bennardo19.03.2025

Coffee is really good but service is terrible (lazy and forgetful) and they don't offer wifi.

Mike MacCana19.03.2025

Friendly, great coffee, air conditioned!

Only suggestion would be to add wifi as it’s a bit of a dead spot for using phones.

Delicious pastries and cake and lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly too! We love the mission of the cafe as well.

Maybe not the best place to work as the staff advised me to connect to the wifi at a nearby shop but I was unable to do so.
