Perfect spot if you seek coffee, and a quiet place to do a little work on your laptop. Dogs are welcome as well!
Torn; I want to keep this place to myself, but it’s one of the last oldest Austin hidden gems left. They honestly make working from laptop something to look forward to & so much more enjoyable. The atmosphere is amazing: outdoor & indoor seating, no florescent lights, fans with misters to stay cool. Great breakfast & lunch selection with coffee & tea. Harry, the manager, is the best! Always comes around with waters for guests when it’s hotter outside. My go-to is the Sausage breakfast platter & the Dirty Chai iced 10/10☺️ ***Review update: They also have a great NA selection with the kombucha based Big Hats! Margarita Mocktail & the Nojito Mocktail Cheers! 🤠
It used to be my main "go-to" for working and lunch, but since the new wifi policy, it's no longer for me :(
First time in. Lots of people working on their laptops in quite corners of the house. You’re welcomed to the upstairs seating area as well. Only thing I didn’t care to much for was the music. Speakers were going in and out so that made it a little unpleasant. So many place to chill and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Great place to go work at during the day
Great chai latte, super friendly staff, and lots of workspaces/outlets for working
Awesome decor, atmosphere, and history. Great working spot
Nice spot to grab some drinks and hang out/work
Great way to compartmentalize and get work done
Great spot for coffee in the am and adult beverages in the pm. Amazing spaces to work, live music at night.
Beautiful space with easy access and stellar staff. Still working on things, but promising.
Great place, maybe needs to work more in personal. The girl was nice tho.
Always plenty of seating available and good place to get work done!
Love this new place in the neighborhood. It’s so cozy and a great place to meet friends or work. Plenty of quiet spaces.
Used to be my friend and I's favorite study spot. We were consistent patrons. Now, the wifi has to be bought with a purchase and you get a login code on your receipt that changes every time. The wifi code lasts for two hours and only connects to one device, so that isn't as conducive to my studying. I've also had connectivity issues with their new wifi which was frustrating. I get the hustle but there has to be a better system. Additionally, they added green fabric over the lights upstairs which makes everything have a horrible yellow tint and makes it unpleasant to read or do work.
New wifi password policy is not great
My drinks are almost always never filled, always a little more than halfway
Understaffed so it makes the people working overworked, in turn frustrated/rude
It’s gotten too loud to study/work - If you want to come for a chill hangout, it’s great though as it gives out a comfy vibe!
Now finding a new spot to study unfortunately :/
Service and vibes hit better. Unfortunately “, the wifi wasn’t working and I was there to work but yet still the staff were affable enough that I really can’t hate this place. Plus it’s dog friendly, no way I’m downvoting this.
Overpriced drinks and wifi only lasts two hours. Great study environment though. Just not for struggling students 🤣
Also, no GF options.
Love the folks behind the counter and the coffees are pretty great.
The ambience is as good as it gets for a coffee shop.
Update: wifi works well!
This is what I’ve been looking for! Plenty of tables to work at with some in quieter rooms. A few cozy sofas and chairs with a “crackling fireplace” for ambiance if you’re in a more relaxed mood. Reliable wifi and great food, coffee and beverage options. My new favorite place!
