The wifi times out after like an hour… kinda annoying tbh! Really good tea and coffee though
Good atmosphere but it's too over priced and limited wifi usage. There's better coffee shops in the area.
They restricted wifi access. Now you can use wifi only for one and a half hour.
Kinda weird to limit your wifi to 1.5 hours in the year 2024 when a majority of people are looking to work from a coffee shop/third space, but ok
The music is way too loud for a cafe. It was pop music, you could mistake it for a club at times. Also, 1.5 hour limit on wifi is atrocious
Heavenly roast beef sandwich and decent coffee. Great environment to work in except for the 90 minute hard limit on wifi.
Great coffee and cake but it is really annoying when you spend $20 on coffee and cake and you have nowhere to sit to enjoy because the moochers with the laptops occupy space. Some didn't even buy anything. Provide more seating for customers who buy something or get rid of the free wifi.
This place looks great and food is good. But the service was terrible, there was a guy that rudely asked everyone in the back to get up and find another spot as there is a private event. Which is fine but there’s a nice way to go about it. Also the wifi here is only available for 90 minutes per day. So don’t use this place to study or work all day. This is the first time I’ve heard of a coffee shop that only has a 90 minute window for wifi.
Nice place with great sitting and wifi to come work. Its always full, want to grab a coffee or some fresh baked goods or chocolates wow this place have it all. The bakery is open at end and you can see chefs working on goods.
Date, to get some work done or just come and get your thoughts together this place is a perfect spot in west loop.
This has a great atmosphere and cause of that it’s usually packed. I believe the wifi kicks you off after an hour or so. Part of me gets that, to keep people move but part of me does want to chill out for a while. Just keep that in mind if you go.
Great coffee and pastries, but the amount of people on laptops on weekends makes it impossible to enjoy the coffee inside and seated.
Cosy place , good for work , i loved the passion fruit danish
Love this cafe. Good coffee and good food. Many people are working here as they have very fast internet.
Beautiful place to hang out, do some work.
There is a work and play atmosphere, great for business meetings or working solo.
This place is amazing! A hidden gem in the West Loop. Some of the best bakery items in the city. Great place to get some work done too.
We visited Good Ambler on 2/26. We ordered Quiche Lorraine, BLTA, 2 mocha lattes, Almond Streusel and Coffee cake to eat there. We also order a chocolate bread and two bonbons (Mexican hot chocolate and Cajeta) to go. The food was good. The chocolate bread and bonbons were amazing!! The lattes were meh. The service was mediocre. The staff member (white skinny male) didn't asked if we wanted our stuff to go or for there even though we showed him our vaccine card. Also, we originally ordered 3 bonbons but they were out of the passion fruit one. He charged us for all 3. Furthermore, finding a place to sit down and enjoy your food was near impossible. They should really think about having a communal table for those using laptops or put a time limit for the tables on weekends. It was ridiculous to see so many tables being taken by one person using their laptop.
Perfect place for getting work done. Large open space and many seating and desk options. Great selection of coffees and pastries. All of them taste great
The shop is fabulous🥰it’s good for working or studying 👍🏻 they have a wonderful selection of desserts 🥮 🍰 plus good coffee ☕️. Highly recommend this place for you to enjoy your time 👍🏻
Great baked goods, but the HQ of Mondelez is like 75% of the space and is roped off Tuesday-friday 11-1. During that time good ambler’s 2 big tables and 3 little ones feel crowded if there are more than like 8 people (always). If you are trying to get work done T-F I’d say pick somewhere else.
One of my favorite places to work remotely. There is a lot of space to sit with outlets nearby. Tried the chocolate cruffin, cheesecake, and cold brew which were all great. Good spot to meet up with friends.
