But the wifi sucked… I came here to work and couldn’t get much done because I could hardly stay connected.

I LOVE this coffee shop! I have always been a coffee drinker, but never to a nearly daily extent. However, when I started working my job it became almost a daily routine. The baristas are phenomenal, the environment is lively. It makes my day getting to chat with them. They've gone above above and beyond. It isn't even customer service at this point, this is a second home. When I was sick with COVID-19 and the flu, I didn't looking forward to getting better for the purpose of no longer being sick, but rather so I could come back for another cup of tea or coffee. I cannot express just how much I love these people. They deserve the entire world and nothing less. I have never seen anyone looking down or visibly having an bad day. Their kindness is radiant.

The restrooms are always clean. The music and lighting aren't overpowering. Hands down the best coffee shop I've experienced. If you aren't starting your day with Houndstooth, it may be time to reevaluate your decisions.

Planned to work from here for the day, but had to leave. The wifi would connect but none of my work sites would load, maybe a firewall? Matcha was also flavorless & they didn’t start making my online order until I asked about it 5 minutes after it was supposed to be ready by. Nice employees and ambiance though

Nice modern cafe with good coffee. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and design. Only issue was that the outlets didn’t seem to work

Decent coffee shop, mostly to sit and chat or to get a to-go coffee. Not very 'work' friendly.

Low key, chill coffee shop with plenty of indoor seating and covered outdoor seating. There were a lot of people doing work on their laptops, and they appeared comfortable.

I personally tried the cold brew, which had a light nutty flavor, no bitterness at all. I had it with Stevia only. I recommend not adding any milk since the flavor is so mild. The breakfast tacos were from Tacodeli and were pretty good as well. The tortillas were a bit chewy though, but the salsas had great heat. Water is self-serve, but there is bottle and canned water available for purchase as well.

Overall, great spot, and I'd definitely come back again

This place is our favorite so much so that I always forget to give them an awesome review whenever I'm in town (so hopefully this one makes up for all of the times it slipped my mind).

Houndstooth has such a welcoming vibe - the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Super clean environment too. The perfect spot to work from or catch up with friends/school work, or even "coffee down" (you get it?? Coffee down - not wine down hahahaha) after a long day. The coffee is always fresh and tasty. My go to is their lavender latte and my husband loves their iced coffee. I absolutely love their cute coffee art too! Such a classy and cool spot to enjoy a fresh cup of hot or cold coffee at any given time of the year/day!

I’m visiting the area and needed a place to do some computer work. Found this great place, ample seating, with great customer service. I got a mocha latte which was pretty good. I wish they just had more food/snack options. They had a few breakfast sweets that honestly looked a bit lackluster. Not a big deal since I don’t mind going without, but would’ve been a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Very nice urban spot for great coffee and a spot to work. Barista was knowledgeable and made a great cortado.

Very friendly staff, iced tea was wonderful, wifi and outlets were easily accessible, and, to top it all off, a perfect central location for downtown Austin 👌👌

Needed a place with wifi and good coffee. My husband is doing some online classes while we vacation at McKinney Falls State Park. We live in East Texas but have never been to Austin. The baristas here gave us some good spots to check out. Very Clean, and cooler in the summer heat!

very cute coffee shop with tasty drinks. we got some lattes with oat and almond milk and they were hot, tasty, and came out fast. barista was very friendly as well. there is also free wifi so you can work at the tables. highly recommend!

Amazing coffee & almond croissant. Friendly service & good wifi. The only complaint I have is seating is a bit uncomfortable.
