An amazing place for a very specific craving - millenial-esque avocado toast and upscale lattes. Filling food (flavor-wise everything was on the plain side), friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere made dining here a pleasant experience. We saw a lot of people setting up shop to work on projects/homework, so if you're looking for a study spot you'll be right at home. We had a small hiccup where we were accidentally given a hot latte vs an iced latte and the wait staff didn't initially follow through in telling the barista, so it took a while for the iced latte to come out. We thought the meat and cheese plates did not quite justify their prices portion-wise, but everything else was pretty on par given the location, experience, and quality of ingredients. We ended up spending slightly over $20 a person with everyone getting an entree and a coffee.
Great music, drinks, and vibes! Lots of cozy spaces to work and free wifi as well.
Great folks, great service, and great atmosphere, be it for working or social meet ups.
Highly recommend the Strawberry Basil Soda with cream. Cool, refreshing, and gives that peppy boost to work through the lazy afternoon.
Came here to do a little work & study. Ordered the Matcha Latte first at the register then the Shakshuka with the QR code that’s on the the number card that was given. The staff were very kind and accommodating. It definitely gives me breakfast/brunch vibe a very lovely place, nonetheless. Though it is a crowded place so finding a sitting here can be difficult at times. They have both outside (covered & not covered) and inside sitting which is nice if you would like to enjoy the outside breeze. The matcha latte was very yummy and so was the Shakshuka, which had a good portion to fill me up. Breakfast is served all day!
Modern style cafe w/good coffee. Had an iced americano, a little weaker than I prefer. A little distracting if trying to get work done, but has a good meet and greet/catch up type vibe!
Very well decorated but go somewhere else if you're here to do some work/study, wifi doesn't work well.
Great place to catch up with friends.
Drinks are average and leaves a lot to be desired.
Good food and coffee. BUT……The man working the register has zero personality and was rude. 10/1. Good place but the employees make of break an establishment. Please improve.
Amazing seasonal drinks with super friendly staff. Fast wifi too.
Beautiful coffee bar. Deducting 3 stars because "Sorry, we don't do wifi on the weekends anymore."
It's obvious from the undeserving 5 star reviews that Seattleites have very low standards for quality and service. And yet they continue to reward such businesses so the establishment has no incentive to change. Each time we come here I think this time will be different. But its not. The service is consistently a grade F. The line is always extremely long because of the slow cashier. I am sure they appreciate the long lines to give a false sense of popularity. Its obvious the employees have zero training, skills, and experience in customer service or more than likely just don't care. The floor is often full of crumbs and food all over the place as well as the seats. A couple times we couldn't even find a place to sit down. And when we did we had to ask someone to clean off the table. The flies. The flies. Really really relentless every time we come here. As far as the food goes it is worse than mediocre. The menu honestly just sucks. Not much choice, very basic. The ingredients are cheap and then put together into an extremely overpriced menu item. But I am glad you Seattleites just cant get enough of that. Food isn't that fresh. Coffee is a miss or hit. They used to turn off the wifi and now turned off the power outlets as well. I guess to scare away the students. We wont be giving this place any more chances. The owner can respond to this review and counter it all he wants. Spend that time writing a response towards fixing the cafe.
Great spot to study, work, or catch up with a friend. There’s great natural lighting and a ton of tables. I always found a table within minutes. Sometimes the outlets under the seats are broken so make sure you test them out if you plan on charging your device(s). There’s plenty of parking since it’s part of University Village. Food and drinks are yum!
They turn off their wifi during weekends until 4 pm which includes Fridays… shouldn’t advertise free wifi if they don’t actually have it.
Kind of a unique cafe, but weak service and very load! Also a bit over price. The reason I give 1 star is that they turn off the wifi when it's busy, so people don't stay and leave early. I find it very rude.
The aesthetic was immaculate and the coffee + food were very satisfying. Even though it was quite busy on Saturday during lunch hours, the service was still super fast - got my food in less than 10 minutes! The free wifi was also pretty good. I got the seasonal latte, fries, and broccoli cheddar soup!
