About
Old Friends Coffee is a café founded by I Made Sipil and his wife. Situated in Ubud, Bali, it has its roots in the agricultural traditions of the Kintamani region. I Made Sipil grew up on his family's coffee farm in the picturesque mountain landscape of Belantih, Kintamani. The inspiration for establishing Old Friends Coffee came from the desire to counteract dependency on the tourism industry and to revitalize traditional farming in Bali. Despite the tourism boom that inflated land prices and displaced farming operations, I Made Sipil is committed to sharing the joy and pride of coffee cultivation and advocating for the independence of farmers. The café aims to create a balance in relationships with God, others, and the environment, in line with the Hindu principles prevalent in Bali. Old Friends Coffee strives to deliver "tiny happiness" directly to its guests, encouraging young people to proudly run their own farms and strengthen Bali's agricultural industry.

A great place to work and enjoy delicious coffee. I come here a few times a week to work. The staff is super kind and attentive.
Cannot comment on food. Only had coffee. Very smooth strong coffee blend worth trying !!! Quaint and quiet little coffee shop with comes with complimentary cafe doggos! Perfect place to do work or read a book. Quiet, ambient, small. Toilet available.
