Their service is great and there cakes are even better. Love this place to work from with you laptop. wifi is good and atmosphere is super nice. Highly recommend.
The most romantic cafe in Old Riga Town (I would say in Latvia:)) The cosiest, with the most delicious coffee and yummy cakes and pastries. The staff is super friendly, the design and decor of the place is very unusual and gives unforgettable experience! And the prices are very reasonable!
Does it sound like I'm in love with this place?! Yes! For sure!
I go there once a year, when on holiday in Latvia and I keep telling to my friends about it and writing on Instagram about it.
So "Parunāsim kafetēka" I'm working towards your "word of mouth" marketing 😁👌🏼
Coffee and cakes are so good. The place is so nice with good style. Music is also very nice....
But... what's wrong with the service here? They seem not happy with what they are working right now. They forgot our drink and we just reminded one of the staff. She just start rolling her eyes. When she servings our drinks and cakes it's just seem like just wanted to throw it to us. That's is not nice!! We are not asking for free food.We pay!! (( if only The service getting better the cafe will be completely perfect Romantic cafe😉))
Amazing place! So beautiful - > totally Instagrammable ;) especially the barista art! Delicious cakes, good music and the service is so good! (Really nice people are working here)
- delicious coffee
- decaffeinated options
- soy milk and almond milk options
- choose different tea options from display
- home baked cakes
- sit outside (umbrella is provided)
- or sit inside with beautiful interior
- pay cash or card
- as far as I can guess accessible with a wheelchair (bathroom is on the first floor so you can get there but it's probably a bit small)
- good for attending with big groups of people as the order didn't take long for us (and you can share the pieces of cake and try all of them)
- sit in a cute corner and have a more private space (maybe take your first date here)
Great place, small, cozy, clean... The people working there are very kind and respectful and the desserts... Holly Molly, veeeeeery tasty and fresh!
We were always curious to go to this place because of the nice location and interior as well as their cakes looked delicious.
First time while trying to go, it was closed on Sunday although on Facebook they were posting to come and try their cheese cake. The working hours on both Facebook and Google showed that they are open till 11 PM, we came at 5 PM to the closed doors. Very disappointing as really wanted to try this cake.
Today we finally managed to get there and the place looks really cozy and beautiful. We took red velvet and chocolate cakes which looked amazing on the display window. For two slices of cakes and and simple coffee we were waiting for about 20 minutes. In the restaurant I would already get my meal. And when we finally got it, the taste was very disappointing by being just average cakes, nothing special, can't even call it tasty.
For coffee and piece of cake I paid almost 9 euros. Overpriced and very disappointing.
A nice cafe for a coffee break in the town centre with a good selections of cakes. The staff took my order was very nice and professional, she could give you quick suggestions according to what you prefer. I also love the decorations of the cafe, kind of vintage style, nice music as well. The only drawback is that they didn’t clean up the dirty plates and glasses on the tables regularly. I had to move them to the other table myself, and of course the table was not cleaned at all. There were quite a few staffs working on that day, it shouldn’t be a problem to clean the tables right away after people leave. Or they should at lease help to wipe our table when they bring the food to us, right?
Lovely Place with a relaxing vibe and lovely people working there. Coffe, Cakes and Champagne arereally good.
Stopped in for a coffee to get out of the cold. Glad I picked this place- it was quite cute inside, the coffee was great, carrot cake was delicious, and the girl working was super friendly and quite amusing. Definitely recommend.
Cute looking place but horrible staff.
Two young lady’s probably teaching each other how the coffee machine is working. I’m not expecting them to stop immediately but ignoring costumers… not even one smile or a „please give us a minute“ is an absolute no go.
Sadly didn’t get to try some of their stuff!
Lovely little cafe with delicious homemade pies and nice music. But the young ladies that were working were the most grumpy I ever saw in a bar!
