Most the staff are extremely rude and act like they don't want to work there. I've been coming here 2+ years and it used to be great (coffee is good). But the service has got progressively worse in the last 6 months. Most the morning shift baristas act like zombies and barely say a word. Almost like it's a hindrance to them when you come in and order a coffee. The person working this morning (Friday) resorted to grunting rather than speaking. So I'll be getting my coffee elsewhere from now on! Sort it out guys. This place used to be brilliant.
Pigeon Espresso bar shares a space with Hang Time Pizza so you can get coffee, tea, pastries, and pizza. They also have really cool merchandise. It’s all a late 80s/ early 90s aesthetic, and is colorful, friendly and warm. I ordered tea lattes and pastries, all of which were awesome. Service was great, fast, and friendly. Vibe is relaxed, the music was really good especially if you like hip hop (shout out to whoever was curating the playlist) . If you want to get work done here, it will be best for you if you don’t need an outlet or don’t mind louder music. I didn’t find the music distracting but some people require a quieter environment. There was only one outlet that I could find for my laptop, so this worked for my work day from this cafe.
