Nice place to work
A fantastic place. I go there regually for food, books and to use the co working space.
A cosy place to grab a coffee, do some work or read a book!
Great space - queer bookshop, cafe and coworking area all in one. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had a great mocha and browse of books while getting some work done too!
Always a pleasure to work from here
Love this new coffee shop. Great selection of sandwiches, toasties, cakes, teas and coffee. Great place to relax for a bit or use the co-working space with your laptop. Lovely friendly vibe.
me and a couple of friends went here to study as we heard it was a great place and relaxing atmosphere, and we are young and have important exams soon so we just wanted to revise and study. But we sat and the table next to us constantly gave us looks and laughed for no reason if we said anything, and then the staff kicked us out for having some canned drinks saying we aren’t allowed outside food and at this point they’d tell us to leave, reminder of the fact there’s no signs around saying you aren’t allowed outside food and no other staff had come over staff to tell us or hint at us atall. I understand if we aren’t allowed outside drinks but the staff was so rude and negative, we would have happily put our food away if we knew it was such big deal. We didn’t have a whole set up of laptops or anything out so I don’t know why’d anyone get mad that we had a single book out each, there were many other people with actual laptops out ???? I think anyone would agree that you shouldn’t proclaim yourself as a good study and work environment if you would let the whole cafe of people study with laptops and books and noise if you won’t even allow some young students just to revise with an EXCERCISE book each, not laptops, not iPad, nothing but a book each. I don’t need some silly excuse as to why we weren’t allowed, we had barely been there for any time and were literally holding menus to order, so don’t even. All we wanted was a safe calm environment to study but clearly we couldn’t even do that. We would’ve gone to a library instead but they were all closed or closing early on Sunday.
