If you are looking for a co-working space where you can have coffee, food and desserts, it's a great place. It has both indoors and outdoors seating.
I personally found the coffee a bit expensive and not value for money.
However it's a great place even to do video work calls. Enough charging points
Update: thank you for correcting. But the definition in my opinion for coworking is
Desk big enough where you have space for a laptop, charging point, wifi, dedicated place where you can work. I assume all of this is available in the Lshape area you have next to the entry ?

A lovely café in sustainable city where you can order healthy breakfast, lunch and a range of vegan and sugar free desserts. A great place to work as well. I love the book exchange idea as well. The wifi was playing up when we visited otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I ordered the poached egg and avocado on toast. My husband ordered the Croissant BLT. We both enjoyed our food. The Mochachino was also delicious.

I think this is possibly my first google review ever, but after a chat with the owners, I felt the need to put one in - from one community cafe owner to another.

This hole-in-the-wall-but-not-really is everything I love - family run, passion project, rustic-edgy, cozy and not your typical Specialty Coffee modern look. In the west, it would be pretty much the norm. For the UAE, it really stands out.

Me being me, I asked for a table to be moved so I can access the outdoor plug - no issues, wish granted instantly. I asked what's in the lazy cake and when I heard dates i said "Oh, no. Can't have dates" - Ola (the owner) didn't even bat an eyelid, she just confirmed there are no dates in my next option (an amazing peanut butter slice) with no questions asked.

I had a chat with husband and wife owners, and related on so many levels. It was so refreshing to feel the energy just being in the space and have the joy, sweat and tears that were clearly poured into this cafe communicated.

The only thing I'd want 'refined' would be the books - I want to access those that are on the high shelves, almost touching the ceiling. :D

Thanks guys for having me and for sparing a few minutes to talk to a fellow community cafe owner. You're doing amazing work and I look forward to what's next!

Very nicely done, welcoming place. Blazing fast wifi a plus. Ideal place to drop anchor for the day and work away. They also started roasting their own beans from yesterday. That is relevant since the columbian decaf flat white that I had, tasted like warm milk. In a blind test I would not recognise it as any kind of coffee, so that is a touch disappointing. I might try again, though with this kind of start I am not very hopeful.

There are a lot of vegan options on the menu for those interested (I am not). The coffee scored essentially a zero for me. Disappointing. Am I the only one that tried a flat white here? Not sure what is going on.
