Weak wifi, solid coffee, good service, limited food options
Cool place to work on your laptop, but also cool to check out for a night out. Love the wall art and screen.
One of my favorite local spots. The beers are always on rotation so you can always try something new. A great place to get some work done with speedy wifi.
I have been in search of a coffee shop to chill, read, or work. Spokesman South May just be in my top 3. Big indoor area with a smaller outdoor staying area in between buildings. Came in at about 8:35 am on a Tuesday. They were already out of breakfast tacos (bummer) but I grabbed a mushroom and cheese croissant from Sour Duck pastries since I didn't want something sweet. It was croissant-y and ok. I grabbed a cup of drip coffee and the price is the same as other coffee shops with refills being $1.50. I'm sitting near the door and man, this place is busy! Lots of people coming in to grab their cup of Joe and then heading out. I wanted to put in my head phones but damn..the music is super loud so that's a negative. I mean I understand having some background music but this is a bit much. Other than that, I can see coming here to get some work done to get out of the house. Might even come back to grab a beer...
Awesome setup, great place to work and get away.
Loved it here.
Posted out for awhile while my car was being worked on. Comfortable place to sit and get some work done.
Coffee and tea was very good, atmosphere and music was great, everyone was very friendly.
wifi being good isn’t a given in coffee shops but I was able to work through the afternoon with no issues.
Happy I lucked into wandering in during car service, will definitely be back!
Great place to grab a coffee or tea, setup your laptop to work, study, or read a book. Fantastic atmosphere and a super friendly staff. If you're looking for food however, you'll need to get there early. The nutrition bars (made locally) they have for sale are actually a pretty good substitute though!
Cool place to work on weekdays.
Had two cappuccinos in three hours
So I’d say it’s a pretty great spot.
Overall 5/5
Awesome place to work on your laptop and listen to chill music while watching coffee being roasted in a fun and casual environment. Lots of coffee beverages and local brews to choose from. Great wifi. Bar had a hook for my backpack and an outlet for my computer which were so appreciated!! Definitely will be back when working in Austin.
❤️ love the location
☕ Has decaf coffee!
🍵 Matcha latte was good
🪑 Lots of seating. Only some have power outlets - most don't. wifi was fine
🌮 Has breakfast tacos :)
Really good coffee shop and bar, very solid Wi-Fi to get some work done if you need to.
Really cool spot for coffee and to get work done. There was a lot of space, free wifi, and great atmosphere. I just moved to the area and will definitely be making this place a regular haunt
Nice decor, but it's a place people go to work and the wifi is just way too weak.
I got a macchiato and the barista was very friendly about my expectations of how they make one. It comes in a small glass like it’s originally supposed to be served. Atmosphere is great and they have wifi. I see people take interviews here with comfort.
Great place to take the laptop, get a coffee, and push out some deliverables. Good beer selection too
Such a great spot to work/study! Also, the golden Chai with Oat Milk is to die for! @estelle.gaither
Great place to drink a cup of coffee and work. Free Wi-Fi.
In East Congress next to a Tesla dealership is an industrial part of town with tons of crafts breweries, a winery, distilleries and Spokesman Coffee. Walk inside and you're surrounded by an industrial space with high ceilings and murals on literally every wall. It's quirky and beautiful!
Walk up the the barista and order a coffee from a full coffee menu. They roast their beans and sell it across the country. Next to the coffee bar is an actual bar with beers on tap from ales to cider and even a fruit punch and pickle sour type drink.
I ordered a vanilla latte for over just $6, tapped into their wifi and found open seating in the back patio. Only 3-5 tables are near outlets inside, but the back patio has a few outlets. However, the wifi isn't as strong outside.
Coffee - great (tried latte and cappuccino)
Staff - friendly
Space - Plenty of outdoor space but not of use in Texas summer.
Parking - free front parking
Food - Migas tacos are the best
Drink - Lots of beer options from top breweries around Austin.
wifi - Great connection if you plan to work from here.
Great place! However, they only have a few power outlets throughout. I suggest coming with a fully charged laptop.
