I have been going to the Avenue for over a year now. This is my space to get my coffee and breakfast and take in the culture while doing some work. I will often take a day off and work from the Avenue 🤗

In my search for a Black owned, third space where I can study this was the second establishment I’ve tried. I was greeted when I entered and when it was my turn to make my order the person at the counter was attentive, made suggestions and friendly. The people who delivered the food to my table were equally polite. I had the medium Black Joy Latte with 2% (which was good but I’ll try something else next time ) and the Jazzy Toast with an egg, which was absolutely fire and will be ordered again. I’ll definitely be back to work on more assignments and try more of the menu.

This was such a wonderful place to bring my laptop and work today. My food and drink were delicious, the jazz music was calming. The artwork is rich and there are a lot of different kinds of seating options depending on what vibe you're looking for. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
