Great place to get some coffee/food and work/do homework! With your order, you get 2 hours of free Wi-Fi 😋

I've been driving here all the way from North Aurora since at LEAST 2014, for the amazing atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious coffee!! A diligent punch-card user. Sometimes they have local artists' work on the walls, and a cool bulletin board to browse for any and all local businesses. Great study spot, great social spot, great late-night spot in general! 🤎

Love this place. The staff is nice and fast. It's a nice place to sit and do my computer work. They have tasty breads and some food options too.

Bardo is a staple of the Denver community. I’ve gone here on and off from when I was a kid in high school doing homework, to a working adult drawing and catching up on emails. Bardo has always provided a comfortable, unpretentious environment to hang out, meet with people, and/or get work done. Addressing some of the things people mention in reviews: I think that purchasing another cup of coffee or tea every couple of hours to continue using the wifi is reasonable for a small business with very limited seating! A newer addition to their offerings has been the vegan breakfast burrito which is fantastic! It makes me so happy to be able to have something substantial, homemade, and reasonably priced when I’m at a coffee shop for multiple hours. It would be great if they offered more pastry options for vegans (as well as dairy & egg allergy people), since usually I believe the only pastry type things they have that I can eat are the GF breads, which are pretty pricey and not great… but I’ll take what I can get.
If you’re obsessed with your coffee shop experience being instagrammable or only being surrounded by other wealthy people, you probably won’t like this coffee shop. But those are exactly the things I appreciate about it. Took one star off for 1. The espresso drinks aren’t that amazing… they have high competition with all of the incredible specialty coffee places in Denver. So if you’re looking for the best cappuccino you’ve ever had, this probably isn’t it. I love coffee but none of these specialty places are ever open after 3-5pm, so that’s where Bardo comes in! Thank you for being open late!! 2. I’ve been here multiple times when people have brought their dogs into the cafe and the staff do not do anything about it. It’s not up to health and safety standards to have animals in the cafe, and your customers can be allergic and/or afraid of dogs too. I wish they’d be a little more cognizant of this.
Overall a great option in my coffee shop rotation while living in Denver. Thanks guys.

Great work / study vibes. Very good coffee. I wouldn't go out of my way for the food but it's fine for a quick bite on your productivity date. Breakfast burrito is sufficient.

Cool spot to get some work done and socialize a bit too.

This is a great spot if you’re a college student trying to write a paper late night or someone trying to do work. It’s a good vibe welcoming vibe and it’s open late (for Denver).

The drinks I had were great, the fourteener was like drinking a turmeric milkshake and the turmeric latte was great, a lot of places will mess up a turmeric latte by adding too much sweetness that overrides the turmeric flavor but not here. I was satisfied with Eve but the lumberjack, its apple flavor is STRONG and it wasn’t what I was expecting but luckily with their policy if you get a speciality drink you don’t like they’ll make a different one which I truly appreciate.

If you’ve been to Austin TX it’s very Bennu vibes, it’s a place to do work for students looking to work on a paper late night. It was a good spot, I’ll be back if I need to do work

It is mentioned multiple times. Staff are beyond rude. Absolutely do not go here if you have any work to do and need working wifi etc.

Karla M15.02.2025

The wifi is no good

Guillermo Lazo15.02.2025

Most excellent café with wifi! Very friendly staff, cool patrons.

Paul T15.02.2025

Good coffee, comfortable seating. wifi sucks too slow to be useful sometimes.

Tyler Jacobson15.02.2025

Always a pleasure. My go to meeting spot. wifi is great and the staff are patient and kind.

I only go to Bardo when nowhere else is open and I need somewhere to study out of the house. Unfortunately this is the only shop that caters to the late night student crowd- otherwise I’d never go back.
If you come at peak times it’s just about impossible to find a table. That’s through no fault of the management. What is the fault of the management is their extremely rude, penny-pinching attitudes.
I have been asked to leave because I chose not to order a drink until a friend arrived. Their wifi comes in the form of a 2 hour access code, and you must purchase something new each time your wifi runs out. What happens if your wifi goes out while you’re editing an assignment and about to turn it in? You have to hope that the barista at the front will take some mercy on you and slip you a wifi code without making you buy something else.
I met a former Bardo barista at another coffee shop I frequent, and found out the manager is known to fire employees if customers like them too much, and that he watches the cameras so he can fire employees who give customers the wifi code without forcing them to make a purchase. I haven’t been back since finding this out, and frankly I don’t think I plan to give such a predatory business my money. I’d rather study at a 24-hour Denny’s.

Great coffee, and eats. Nice relaxed casual atmosphere, and great place to work, meet friends, work alone, or help a friend get business done on a laptop, indoors or on patio. wifi free with purchase. wifi seemed slow, and bogged down sometimes, but it was a Monday, So I assumed internet traffic was heavy. Place appears to be cleaned continually, and comfortable. Staff, patrons, and management, are all engaging, friendly, and constantly aware of surroundings!

Paige M15.02.2025

Amazing coffee and awesome staff. There is wifi throughout and lots of outlets, really comfy spot. Try the mocha, it's perfect!

Adrienne P15.02.2025

This place is such a vibe. The workers here are fantastic and the coffee shop stays busy during the day. Parking is a bit difficult and the wifi is time limited, to encourage folks to move along after a couple hours to make room for new folks to have a chance to enjoy the shop for a couple hours. wifi connection is strong and the process to get wifi is strong as well. Coffee and tea is delicious and I can't wait to come back to meet all of my caffeinated needs ☕️

Sarah Pamela15.02.2025

Never been to a coffee shop before where they limit your wifi to 2 hours and make you get another purchase after 2 hours. Regret tipping. That’s just absurd to me.

Shawn15.02.2025

Get the turmeric coffee! Great atmosphere, people, and coffee. Also the wifi tested out at 150mbps if you a need a place to do some work. They just ask you buy something every 2 hours.

Hit up another cafe in the area, and it's alright but always packed. You gotta know what you want before you hit the till, or you'll be in a bit of a pickle, especially the first few times. The coffee and snacks? Top-notch, no doubt. But there's a snag – it's usually swarmed with students on their laptops. Some of them don't even order much, maybe just a coffee, and then they're there for ages, hogging the tables. Often, they're not even studying, just watching YouTube or whatever. Not really on, if you ask me. Me and the missus usually drop like 40 quid and end up bailing for somewhere else, despite it being a decent spot. It's a good shout for a grab-and-go, or if you don't mind the crowd, but otherwise, maybe give it a miss.

A nice local coffee shop which is open till midnight. You can also try their different slices of bread. I like that they serve the coffee in mugs and not take away cups. Overall a nice cozy coffee place where you can take your laptop and work.

Im a full time student and came here for the first time to try a new late night study spot. Unfortunately, I ended up only staying for an hour or two. Judging by the awesome reviews left, I thought I’d stay longer, but just did not feel the vibes or the drinks.

Pros: I do like their late night hours (open till 12am).

Cons: You have to purchase a drink every 2 hours in order to be able to use their Wi-Fi. Once you use up your two hours, you don’t get access to Wi-Fi unless you buy another drink.
- The seating was a little outdated, some of the chairs and tables weren’t cleaned and they tilted when I put my laptop on them. I moved to couches but they were sunk in, with no table to put my laptop on.
- Their chai tea wasn’t really too tasty unfortunately
- I am all about eco-friendly and waste saving, but I do wish they’d give an option to have paper cups to drink out of as well. They served me my drink in a mug that looked a little old, and it stirred up my germaphobia lol But I do appreciate their eco-friendly attempts!

I think this study spot has a lot of potential with just a few upgrades!

Love the old era atmosphere. It's not fancy. It's a very down-to-earth, unpretentious warm place. I'm an old soul so this place was very cozy for me. Ordered their espresso over ice and lemon poppy seed bread, my husband got their chocolate drink and the croissant cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious but the croissant cinnamon roll stole the show! They also have a printer in the shop. I imagine it's for the people who go there to do their work on their laptop. It's a really great place to be real and just chill.
