🇳🇬 LagosAbout The Studio: Coffee Roaster & Brunch Cafe
About
Welcome to The Studio, a small roastery based in southern Portugal. At The Studio, our mission is simple: to change lives through coffee. It might sound a little ambitious, but we like to think big. We believe that every cup of coffee is more than just a drink; it is a significant product, the result of a long, international process involving both art and science. Each cup of specialty coffee has a story to tell, touching the lives of many people along its journey through the supply chain. We love sharing these stories with our customers, and while we enjoy experimenting with our roasts just like any specialty coffee roaster, we are also driven by the community surrounding our coffees.

Coffee & Drinks
The Studio is proud to offer high-quality specialty coffee. This special type of coffee results from a long international process that combines art and science. The roastery enjoys experimenting with different roasts to create a variety of flavor experiences. Each cup of coffee tells its own story that spans across the entire supply chain. This dedication to quality and attention to detail is reflected in every cup served by The Studio.

laptop friendly cafe with excellent service and quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing creating a room for digital nomads and coffee enthusiasts.
The only downside was the wifi which was only WPA 1 (bad security setting).
Good coffee, just got one and stayed there for hours with a good wifi
One of the best coffee we had in Algarve, super fast wifi aswell!
Wonderful place! Went to get some quick work done and the wide array of coffee choices was a surprising bonus. Chill atmosphere with speedy wifi and love that they use glass straws over plastic. Will be back!
Really nice atmosphere in here. It’s small but cosy. The cold brew is delicious (€3). And they have wifi which is really helpful. 5/5 thank you x
Good coffee and a place to work if you need to
Sehr (!) guter Iced Latte. Nettes Café mit jüngerem Publikum. Auch geeignet zum arbeiten.
Tolles Café mit leckerem Kaffee. Entspannte Atmosphäre in der man auch länger verweilen und lesen, arbeiten etc. Kann 😊👍
Excellent coffee and food + friendly staff! Good seating setup for working from the shop
450mbit wifi internet! One of the best coffees in Lagos and a quiet place for quiet work.
Nice cafe experience in the heart of Lagos old town. Good location for refreshments whilst remote working. Friendly staff and good wifi!
Such a cute place, with a great vibe. Friendly staff, wonderful food and good wifi. Perfect place to work for a few hours for us digital nomads, but there also plenty of people that come just for a drink or food! Haven’t been for coffee themed-cocktails in the evening, but I love that idea 😊.
Neat cafe with the usual coffee drinks and a simple menu. It seems very popular amongst the Digital Nomads, wifi is decent.
This spot has been an absolute gem during my stay in Lagos. Great coffee, great toasts (try the power toast), and stable wifi for getting some work done! Worth the visit!
Nice place to work quiet, drink some coffee and have a nice snack
Very nice and cute environment to work and hang out w friends ☺️
Great atmosphere. Lots of people working in the cafe. Awesome service.
one of the nicest places I've found to enjoy a break and keep working, keep it up!
Great coffee and food. Nice space to work or relax.
Lovely Fruity specialty coffee.
Nice vibe and co working areas
Café muy rico, la comida no tanto. Tienen una zona para sentarse con la laptop a trabajar. Hacía un calor agobiante ahí adentro. Buen servicio!
Our favourite coffee shop in Lagos. They are expresso and latte artists offering great service. laptops are welcome within reason (e.g. except during breakfast rush)
Very nice cafe with tasty specialty coffee and friendly staff. Also, laptop friendly and the pictures on the walls are just on another level.
The best coffee shop in Lagos!
Baristas are so friendly:)
Wonderful coffee, delicious breakfasts and reasonable prices.
Also they have good wifi and you can work with your laptop here.
Great spot to work on your laptop, lots of plugs available, good atmosphere and kind waitstaff.
Good place to work and have your breakfast, plenty spaces and electric sockets
Great to take your laptop and work remotely. Super kind staff.
Good barista coffee. Good place to work with dedicated laptop tables.
Great coffees - we had a few times takeaway.
Seems to be a popular spot for people to work from so plenty of laptops about.
My favourite of the speciality coffee shops in Lagos!
Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Coffee bean choice has a pleasant variety for pour over that changes often. Their tasting descriptions are spot on. They really know beans and clearly care a lot about really good coffee. Also, it may seem like a steep price if you're not used to pour over specialty roasts, but it is worth it and you get more than enough coffee to drink! The prices are very fair.
It's also a great place to get harder to find coffee items like Aeropress (and its accessories). Photos for sale are nice too. And they do takeaway, which is a bonus.
I would give it full stars if the latte had a little more care. Both times I've had one, it's been sort of watery and bitter. Decent, just not the best it could and should be at a place like this.
Also, there are tables that are marked "no laptops" which I very much appreciate, but I think during peak hours, they should go laptop free entirely. There have been multiple times I've come for a coffee and haven't been able to find a seat because so many tables are taken by these "digital nomad" types on their Instagrams. It's a coffee shop, not a library.
Many specialty cafes ban laptops entirely in Lisbon so that the people who want a specialty coffee (hard to find in Portugal) aren't turned away for some tourist drinking an Americano for 4 hours and leeching off free wifi. It would be nice if something similar could happen in Lagos and if "digital nomads" could respect that this isn't USA or UK where you have Starbucks on every corner and anybody can get a fancy coffee easily. It seems to be a general issue across Lagos but at least this place does reserve some seats for non-laptop users.
Atmosphere otherwise is the best of all the specialty cafes here. It isn't pretentious at all, and that is a huge plus.
