Cool new spot with friendly staff and great coffee. A lovely addition to my walk to work
Lovely little spot with a surprising amount of space out back with some natural light coming through. There were lots of people working on their laptops around lunch time, but there's a no laptop policy on weekends.
We ordered a chorizo toastie with added caramelised onion and an eggs on toast with a side of avocado. Ordered a decaf and a cortado for drinks. The coffees were great, even the decaf! The toastie was delish, with just the right amount of melted cheese. The eggs were tasty but unfortunately a little rubbery, however the dish was enjoyable none the less.
Overall really enjoyed lunch here and would come back if I'm in the area.
We always meet with one of my colleagues to work from here once a week. The atmosphere is lovely, the menu offer is great and in general coffees are also really good. It's dog friendly which is a plus for me! laptops not allowed during weekends though.
Great little spot to grab a coffee and get some work done! I also had lunch here, Falafel wrap, which was delicious!
I had a quite shocking experience at this place yesterday. I came there to work and, after ordering some food and drink, the waitress kindly gave me the wifi. 30 minutes later, she came to inform me that a "no laptop policy" was put in place during the weekend and that I had to turn off my computer. I can totally understand such a policy, but no staff told me about it in the first place, and there was no visible sign anywhere to warn the customers. If they had told me straight from the beginning, I would have gone in another place because I really needed to work. So I decided to finish what I was doing - I had to go 10 minutes later anyway. But then, they suddenly switched off the wifi. Without a warning. Out of the blue. And I lost what I had written online during the 10 last minutes. I am just a teacher, I have 200 reports cards to fill in online before next week. I wasn't bothering anyone, I just needed a quiet place where to work. What kind of place does that to its own customers??? I am shocked.
Very close to Highbury&Islington station. There is really good coffee and variety of vegan cakes. It is hard to choose one but thanks to friendly stuff became easier:) Also having good wifi I could work comfortably.
