Great place to work from!
They have no outlets here just in case anyone decides to go with a laptop with low battery
I came to do some computer errands over the weekend. I heard a lot of great things about this place. However I felt the place was very over priced and there were no outlets to charge laptops. I ordered a vegan cookie for $4. So I only stayed for a short time (after searching a while for parking).
When I'm staying in the Arts District I come here daily. The space itself is beautiful. Tall ceilings, open concept, & lots of options for sitting. Great space to catch up on admin on your laptop. I love their breakfast menu because they offer options for when you want something light or want something a little more filling. The coffee here is also excellent.
Verve has one of the best coffees in east LA. The coffee is professionally made and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Also a great spot to bring your laptop and headphones and work for hours :)
Music is way too loud and intense bass.
Also there are no outlets to plug in anything. Can't plug in a laptop, phone, etc.
The almond croissant was so crispy and was the best almond croissant I ever had. Too bad they got no outlet. I only stayed briefly due to my low laptop battery
Great place to work, except that they don’t have outlets to plug in your computer :(
There are parking spots so it’s nice. Nice view. The menu is kinda simple. Price around ~$8 per drink. Lots of people go here to work on their laptop. Would be better to have an electrical outlet.
Wow the first ever coffee shop I’ve been without charging port, seriously? 0 charge. As so many people working here they don’t actually offer charging port. That’s upsetting that I put order on my drinks and find out my laptop is out of electronics.
Super cute spot. Lots of laptop workers but REMOTE workERS BE WARNED there are absolutely nooooo outlets. So make sure your devices are well juiced.
I came in here and heard all my fave kind of gothy, alt chick music (before it switched to like 2010 pop rap but something for everyone I guess), and was greeted by friendly service when I got to the line.
I got an iced hojicha and the quality was definitely there.
This place reminded me a lot of Brooklyn so I felt very at home (while still feeling very LA)
This place was super busy when I came and hardly had any seating. I'm sorta used to this but keep in mind I really couldn't find a spot with an outlet here so if you need to charge your laptop while you work this might not be the place. I love verve's lavender latte that I get all the time at the capitol one cafe but for some reason here I couldn't taste the lavender at all. The worker seemed to have an attitude with me for asking a question about something. I'd probably go to a different verve next time.
Great place to get some work done! Food is great too :)
Lots of seating and people working from home. Wi-fi was pretty good but taking calls wasn’t because it was loud. Coffee was good / ok
Great staff, great wifi, great outdoor terrace (though a bit noisy for deep thinking)
Great place to work, relax or study. Lots of tables available, although it gets pretty busy. The parking lot is small, but it's not impossible to find street parking.
Love this place! Coffee and food are delicious, super nice staff, and the place is spacious and has a great vibe. Great place to work! I got the acai bowl and was impressed
Dang,.. this is my GO-TO cafe every weekends!
Staffs are kind, food and drinks are amazing, and most importantly... FAST FREE wifi!
This Verve location is probably the most popular location among their chain! Come early by their opening time and avoid rush hours to find seats!
Popular seats (rectangle tables on the ground level + mezzanine and bar like seats) get filled up quickly!
Awesome place to get work done, minus points for the bitter cold brew I had.
The staff are all friendly and food is fresh! Good place to work or chat.
Note that there are no outlets!
Large coffee roasting shop. Lots of people parked for the work day here. Nice selection of coffee.
Coffee is good, well roasted and flavorful. Food okay. wifi slow. No power outlets.
Beautiful space with the potential to be amazing. Decently fast Wi-Fi, no outlets. Lots of people come here to work or chat, gets really busy during peak hours. Small lot for the size, you’ll probably have to fight for street parking. Upstairs is warmer/has less AC, is more secluded, and closes earlier. Everything is intentionally designed for you to be just comfortable enough to give your business but not overstay your welcome. Tables are an awkward height, chairs an uncomfortable shape, music is loud on both floors. A very corporate move. Baristas are rather curt but the coffee is great. Prices are expected. Overall good for what it is.
most reliable la coffee shop but still super unique. good seating and wifi too!
