Came here to work a couple times, wifi never works. Cool aesthetic tho
vibes 10/10 coffee overpriced wifi was not working properly
Coffee is usually good. I have had 1-2 bad cappuccinos in the past few months, but it is always drinkable.
Atmospherically, it is simple and tasteful. The interior designer on this one probably deserves a raise, but the bar designer should be demoted. I know that the workflow behind the bar is probably optimized, but the flow of guest traffic from the door to the POS is a little confusing and disjointed. The bar depth is MASSIVE, which provides a lot of workspace for baristas, but cuts into the overall space significantly.
Generally decent place to get some work done, but (as stated in other reviews) the wifi is finicky and does not work at all during peak times.
I don't know if this is a cultural thing, if I am spoiled, or if my standards are just too high, but the guest service in Dallas is severely lacking. I moved here about 4 months ago, and have yet to experience truly good service. Though some other shops have provided adequate connection, eye contact, and deference, Wayward is consistently below average, with (seemingly) perpetually annoyed baristas. It (hopefully) never hurts to smile and at least pretend happiness at the site of a guest.
The atmosphere was nice and a lot of seating available but the wifi was not connecting and when I asked about it at the counter the guy just told me, “well it seems to be working on our end so idk.” But now that I see other reviews I know I wasn’t going crazy
Plus the “vanilla latte” just tasted like a melted vanilla shake it was way too sweet.
Very nice and spacious cafe to work at. I had the jalapeño kolache which was excellent and a very good chai latte.
The wifi is bad here, it kicks you out every 2 minutes and their coffee is mediocre for the price, definitely will not come back
So much squandered potential...
Ambience is great, drinks are decent (especially the pour overs), abundant study space and outlets - yet the wifi brings it all down. I've never been to a coffeeshop where the wifi constantly disconnects or refuses to connect at all. Of the 11 or 12 occasions I've tried studying with friends here, we've had to go to Triumph's down the street due to these connectivity issues at least half of the time. Tried different laptops, restarting, reconnecting, nothing helps.
If you're simply looking for a nice place to chat or read, Wayward is awesome. If you need to get work done, look elsewhere. Or go to Subway next door and ask for their wifi password.
Really great Coffee. I appreciate the sample of their syrup. I couldn’t connect to wifi though so I left
Great local. Best latte I’ve had. Friendly staff. Comfortable place to work
“Best coffee place with all the plants 🌱 🪴. Music 🎶, board games ♟️ , work 💻 you can hang out with your friends, family, and yourself.”
I’ve been almost every day over the last month that I’ve been in town for work. Consistently the best of the group of the local shops in the area
my go to favorite to get work done and people watch. nice open airy space. great coffee!
Large coffee shop with plenty of seating. Good for working or catching up with a friend. The gold rush latte was so yummy!
Good and spacious place to work and meet up with people. Like how green the place is.
Great vibe and quiet enough to work or have conversations.
My tea was okay not thing excellent. Will try the coffee next time.
i love this wayward. I loved going to the other one, but this location is more convenient for me and i always have been able to find a comfy spot to sit with my laptop to do work. The lattes are great, and they made me a pretty good flat white, which isn’t always a common thing as people have gotten them wrong many times before. Great spot to work, outlets available, good mix of tables, couches, and bar seating. Love it.
