Had a drip coffee and a cortado. Both were super solid and tasty with some brightness. Loved getting to sit among the plants in a beautiful open space. Was great to hang and do some work at a table.
TLDR; come for the coffee, stay for the vibes, maybe buy a plant
Everywhere you look you find a little gem here! If you are dining in, you are literally sitting in the jungle which is refreshing. Although you're right near the freeway, you really don't hear it much and you feel like you've been transported.
The vibes. They put a lot of thought into how this should feel while you're sitting here and it did not disappoint. We each ordered a latte, I ordered a croissant and my friend a chorizo burrito. They offered to warm the food and we were pleasantly surprised but this. We sat and used the wifi for a bit then people watched a variety of ages and a few dogs before heading out.
The bathroom is a journey as it should be. The bathroom is adorable and clean but you do have to walk through the nursery to find it. I got lost which is nothing on them because there were signs but I got distracted by the plants. It was really funny and a staff member ended up having to help me find it which was also funny.
I somehow managed to not purchase any plants although there was quite the variety of plants and accessories.
The most clever part of our experience was asking for the wifi password. It's welcometothejungle... just as written on the neon sign. This place was well thought out in design and I was excessively amused with the entire experience.
Tried the Queenie! Very tasty. Great music and a place to work for an afternoon.
It feels magical to work surrounded by so much lush greenery.
